Kaynz, a DJ and music producer renowned for his hypnotic progressive oriental sound, embarked on his musical journey as a fervent music lover. Evolving from a creative curiosity surrounding sounds, melody, and musical vibrations, he immersed himself in the early electronic scene, drawing inspiration from luminaries like David Vendetta, Tiesto, and Armin Van Buuren.

His dedication led him to Per-vurt studio, where, under the guidance of mentors Hasan Awada and G-mohris, he honed his craft through practice and learning. Known for his sets that transcend time and space, Kaynz creates an immersive experience where music and audience merge seamlessly.

Could you walk us through your creative process as an artist producer? How do you approach the initial stages of a project, from conceptualizing ideas to the final production?
Certainly! Books inspire me, alongside meditation, nature walks, diverse music, to create captivating productions.
Many artists draw inspiration from various sources. Can you share some of your key influences that have shaped your unique style as a producer? Are there specific artists or genres that have had a significant impact on your work?
My style as a dj/producer is shaped by ambient techno, dub techno, and hypnotic techno, along with influences from Arabic culture. These diverse inspirations come together to create a unique blend of atmospheric soundscapes and evocative melodies.
Collaboration is often a crucial aspect of music production. How do you navigate and foster productive collaborations with other artists, musicians, or even other producers? Can you share a memorable collaboration experience that stands out in your career?
I foster productive collaborations by staying connected with artists through workshops, networking, and online communities. One standout experience involved collaborating with a producer from another country. Despite the distance, we used technology to exchange ideas seamlessly, resulting in a memorable piece of music and a lasting friendship.
The music production landscape has evolved rapidly with technological advances. How do you stay updated on the latest tools and software, and how has technology influenced your approach to producing music over the years?
My approach includes staying informed through online research, attending workshops, and networking with peers and other artists. Technology has not only revolutionized my production process but also facilitated seamless collaboration with artists worldwide.
Among all the projects you’ve worked on, is there one that holds a special place in your heart? Could you share the story behind it and why it stands out as a particularly meaningful or rewarding experience for you?
“One project close to my heart is ‘Flock,’ an unforgettable music event held at a venue by the sea. With the slogan ‘Birds of the same feather flock together,’ it aimed to unite like-minded individuals in a memorable experience celebrating music and community. Witnessing people come together, share their passion, and forge connections by the sea made it a truly rewarding experience.”

For aspiring producers entering the industry, here’s straightforward advice based on my experience:
1. Stay curious: Explore different sounds and styles to find your niche.

3. Be authentic: Stay true to your unique style and don’t be afraid to experiment.
4. Network wisely: Build connections with fellow producers and industry professionals for support and opportunities.
